Jk good job on the fab work, looks pretty swanky compared to the stock leather shift knob
I just thought I'd share my weekend mod which is the 2005 accord leather shift knob, I had to obviously order the accessory and under the parts catalog I had to order the shift boot. In order for this to work I removed the plastic receiver from the accord shift boot and bored it out with a knife to accept the larger civic threaded extension on the shifter base. I then was able to slide it down to make room for the shift knob and large accord collar. I would have to rate the fit and finish 9/10 and the feel and performance 10/10. Dont let the pic fool you, the civic shift boot cannot be easily pulled down from the accord collar because of the accord plastic receiver which has a lip lifting up the boot and snapping into the collar.

I like it man. Some people hate but I appreciate. Hahaha
thanks, your the only one so far who likes it, with the summer heat right around the corner this will be better vs my aluminum one.
Not bad but I like the honda element 5-speed shift knob better
That's what I have in my hatch
when I was looking at other model's shift knobs I liked the element because its the same as the RSX-S which I have also tried but wanted it to say 5 speed, but dont remember being able to find it so I settled on this accord one.
The element shift knob is flat black and it was like $7 from a honda parts website but shipping is like $10 lol. I bought at the same time that I bought a bunch of other parts so the $10 shipping wasn't a big deal. It's plastic so it's nothing fancy but I liked how it looked in another EP3 and it's about half the size and half the weight of the stock knob. Here's the part # 54102-SCV-A01ZA
Oh and the element shift knob clips right on like the stock knob
