Jokes aside, if the engine came out at "160" ish, lost 10-15 over 10 years, but hes added that stuff in and getting it tuned, shouldnt it be back to 160-170?

    no joke.
i had a similar set up....... kiddracing header and lighter flywheel...kpro...warm air........ws2
i had 120k on the motor.

    after a mustang dyno....
    148 hp
    125 tq

and the stock 160 hp is to the flywheel.

if he makes over 150 hp on a mustang dyno, with a fairly stock k20a3....he is doing really well.

i liked the way my car felt after it dyno'd 148 hp. i was "cherping" third gear at will, with a good summer tire.

if you want hp... keep the rdx injectors and turbo it. easily over 200 hp that way.

    i wanted more hp, so i found a k20a.

if i turbo it ...how long you think the block would last since it has weak internals ?

    im not a turbo'd guy......
but i have read, that if you keep the boost relatively mild.....6-8 pounds..... you could easily get typical life from it.
    and.....keep the revs below 7500.......

oh right 160 to the flywheel :)

Also, I've been warned that as soon as you starting powah like that, you need to evaluate stopping too (brakes/suspension/tires)

Looks like what you have there is a good set of supporting mods for a set of a2 cams, using exhaust rockers on the intake cam. This is known as a vtec killer setup, you'd see some decent power then.

Unless I am missing something and this is a wish list?

Search. I haven't done it myself, so I'm not going to spew out other people's information and finding for you, but I know that it's the route I'd like to go down, and it's the best use of an a3 motor in my opinion.
