Why would you put a smaller rear sway bar ?
But yes ther are interchangeable
I have a 22mm bar and would like a smaller one, on a 2003 EP3.
Which one(s) fit ?
Thanks.

My car was so slammed as to be impossible to take, rock hard over every bump and scary over potholes.
My mechanic put stock springs on it and we changed the 17" wheels for 15". My mechanic thought it would be dangerous with the 22mm sway bar, he suggested a small one, now it has none.
Around long sweeping turns on my way to and from work it leans like a bread truck.
What do you think ?
Your mechanic is a fool. Throw the 22 back on ASAP.
wow like power said
you should really change of mecanics lol

It all Depends... The mechanic is thinking along the lines of making the car as safe and controllable as possible (as in the car just wants to go in straight lines).
So, what is your intent with the car? what are your needs? What else has been done to the car? what is the alignment set to... ect.
yeah but 22mm shouldn't be that dangerous.

Not at all. The type r has a solid 22mm stock.
right; but we are talking about a mechanic, not an automotive engineer.
My drive to and from work is on windy roads in the foothills lots of switchbacks and a few long sweepers.
I am going to have the 22 mm bar put back on and try it for a while.
With stock springs the ride is nice and soft, the worst potholes are passable. It is apparent now though, that I need stiffer shocks.
Koni adjustable would be nice , but expensive. We'll see.
I had Tokico Illuminas on my old Gen 2 Integra and they were great, but the Konis have a lifetime warranty.
