Check with AKEP, i think he might be running this manifold
Hey guys, I was test fitting my manifold tonight before having to go in to work and I ran in a problem. While I was mocking up the manifold the wastegate sticks out from the bottom of the collector and hits the black heater pipe that comes from the top of the thermostat housing.
My question is, has anyone else ran into this problem before? Once I get back home from work I'll take some snapshots and post them here so you can see what I'm talking about.
The way it's looking, I'm going to have to cut off a section of the coolant hard line that runs alongside of the head in order to make the wastegate clear.
I'm wondering if it's because I reused the K20A3 coolant lines and didn't use K20A2 or other lines since they might be different.
I'm using the Private Label MFG T3 sidewinder manifold.

thats why i have no heater to avoid these issues
I found this thread over at clubrsx:

I think it's the design of the PLM manifold. If you look at the Full-Race T3 manifold (that I think mine is a copy of) the wastegate is either
A) welded more slanted away from the heater line
or
B) the runners/collector/flange is designed farther away from the engine when compared to the PLM manifold.
