      Powdercoating aluminum wheels is NOT recommended.

      Turns out powder coating aluminum wheels may be detrimental after all.

      "... the heat range and duration of the powdercoating process overlaps with the heat treating and aging of 6061-T6 aluminum." 949 Racing will void the warranty on powder coated wheels.
