Synchronic wastegate + aem tru boost = bad combo... My boost maxed at 12 psi which sucked. Nxt yr bigger Intercooler , piping , dp, tial wastegate. I'm still running everything from the revard kit, time for a few changes. Hoping for 360+

first kill on the new tune! An STI. The GF still a rookie at recording. THe STI passenger counted to 3 and we took off. Put a good bus on em within a few seconds. We raced a second time and the same outcome.

Reasons for going synchronic? Reasons for changing? I cant decide on what route to go. I keep getting hung up on the thought that the synchronic setup will be more responsive... but Tial keeps coming up as a fave amongst most...

When i bought my revhard kit it was included in the kit. There's nothing wrong with the synchronic . I just made the mistake of running a aem tru boost with it. If u plan on not running a boost controller the synchronic is the best wastegate in my opinion. But with a boost controller u dont get much room to work with. I was getting 10.5 psi off my wastegate and maxed the boost controller snd only saw 12 psi. That's ridiculous. It cost me atleast 20 whp on the dyno. Instead of 14 psi I'm on 12. I'm going with tial nxt year

Thanks for the input. I just watched some more vids on the Synapse WG and BOV... and since i want minimal electronic control... these look more and more appealing. The video on spring preload and rate was interesting as well...

Nice numbers sk20... kpro builds boost off the two step by retarding and adding fuel to build the boost, I think I could be wrong as I havent messed with it for a while haha.
