ep3 k20a3 rsx base model

my motor blew up and i found a really good deal on a rsx base model a3. what would i need to do this swap? like modifications or does it just drop straight in?

should be a straight swap, why would u blow u money on another a3? if ur trying to pay as ittle as possible i would go with a k24a4 some HP but 30 more TQ

so my ecu should work?
i bought it off my buddy for 300$

Yes it will drop right in and work with your stock ECU. Just make sure that you use the EP3 intake manifold, don't use the plastic one from the base. Believe it or not but the K20A3 from the RSX base is actually a slightly better than the EP3 motor. The base motor has the same oil pump as the Type-S.

The EP3 got the better transmission but the base got the better motor.....stupid Honda

Okay good. I was a little scared and thought I was going to have to run kpro. Not that i wouldn't want to I just don't have the funds for that right now. I've also noticed that the acis located differently on the rsx motor, is there a way to run it like my ep3 a3 so i dont have to deal with the lines?
