There wasn't as much stuff to take pics of, as in previous years, so I did the best I could. :) The Alpine Si was unbelievable, and sadly Alpine only had one really nice new deck, and Pioneer had none.
Enjoy. :)

Yeah the green car was SCC's (I think). It was all locked up and you could only look in it (interior was stock anyway).
Does CES bring the release of the new model Head units etc.. for car audio? Or at least that's what the guy at a local car audio place told me... Would that mean we're gonna see the last year's models drop in price with the introduction of newer units?
And are we gonna see new parts for the EP3 soon? I guess I'm not too familiar with what CES is... but I'm assuming a trade show? JayDub you had some neat pics, were some of those pics of the new Alpine head unit? How'd it look, did you see any other head units that were coming out? Thanks, Bill
CES is a tradeshow that shows what the market will have for the upcoming year (meaning 2003). Unfortunately it seems like the dipping economy had a hand in the fact that there were very few new head units from the big names, aside from the two alpines I took photos of. Disappointing news, since I was in the market for a new head unit.
Generally speaking, prices on "old" stuff would come down after CES, but since there isn't a lot of new product coming out, I wouldn't expect prices to fall that much. :(
thanks for the pics. the green ep is ugly, but i like the sony headunit picture:p
finally some pics of that al[ine car... I want to see more though... I heard such great comments about it
that blue si is crazzy!
