    welcome!
grats on the type r swap.

sounds like a bad battery to me. how old is your battery? make sure your connections are squeeky clean.
if all that looks good, i would get my alternator tested.

    what harness did you use?

i used my a3 harness on my type r swap...... fired up first try.

thanks bro, i have a spare ep3 si and im gonna pull the harness off tonight and try it in the morning.. i thought it would be plug and play since both are jdm items, the motor was built by spoon japan so thats why i went with this as opposed to a k24.. thanks alot..ill post up pics of my car tonight...

    built by spoon?
    sweet!
would love to hear it in some videos, once you get her on the road.

I have to ask because you didn't mention it, what ecu are you using?
I used a pre-loaded kal from krpo to get mine running well enough to get to my tuner.

I also have a DC5-R swap in my EP.

I also used the DC5 PRC ECU. Which ECU are you running?

yeah what ecu are you running and does it have kpro? if your using a JDM ECU you will need to add a ground to the fuel pump on the ECU harness itself. that was my problem with i swapped a k20a2 with jdm DC5 ecu.
