    Check Engine Light P2647

So my check engine light came on today, had it scanned and it was a P2647 VTEC switch. I checked my oil level and I was fine so i cleared the code and the light has not come back on. Is this normal? Should i replace the VTEC Switch just to be safe?

If it keeps coming back on, then your VTEC solenoid is bad. It happened to me and I replaced it , never had the engine light on again.

It has only happened once so far. I just changed my oil like a week before the check engine light came on.

did u use different oil? i would change it again since its a cheaper fix than the VTEC solenoid, if that doesn't fix it then replace the solenoid
