its normal man- just residual oil, dirt, grease, whatever from you handling it during the swap just burning off- same goes for a brand new header. It should go away with time
So I just finished my k24a1 swap. I'm using the intake and exhaust manifolds from the k20a3 and ecu, with 310cc injectors. After about 30 seconds of running white smoke starts to come off of my exhaust headers and they are really hot. I'm not sure what to think any ideas on what the problem could be? Possible combustion in the exhaust manifold from unburnt fuel? Or maybe just dirt and grease from my work gloves? Idk I'm at a loss I started it 5-6 times and it did it every time. : /

I second that,
Experienced exactly this after installing my k24a2, as long as its slight smoke, not heavy billowing clouds you are fine.
it will go away in a day or so.
Yea it happens most of the time when you'll messing with the header
This happen to me long time ago when i install my dc headers. I was freakin out too but it went away after a day of driving around.
Yeah you guys were right after letting it run for awhile 10-15min smoke cleared up and went away. Thanks
