and if you want a 2.5" magnaflow in-out straight through i have a brand new one i never used in the box, and as for injectors, dont mod the oem ones, spend the money and get a set of ID or FIC's. the difference is awesome

The hondata JRSC race calibration is so safe you can run the 3.8 on it until a tune
3.8 will go on in the future. NM does get hot in the summers... Meth is on my wish list.

Your setup/threads/videos were actually my inspiration to go SC. My goals aren't as high as your peak #s . I'm hoping for 240whp ( haven't decided if that's on meth). I have a2 cams in the garage I'm thinking of using later on via vtec killer.

Update: Race header aquired! I bought a DC RH on Facebook through the EP buy/sell/trade recently. It was in good condition aside from some surface rust.

I cleaned it up pretty decently. Took some do-ing but was well worth it.

Used "fireproof" ceramic paint that needed to be baked (Note the heat gun).

    Finished product:

Will be installing soon. Can't decide if I should wrap it or not...

Feel a little better but honestly didn't get to drive it much. Plus I had a trunk full of tools jack/stands golf clubs and back seat full of food lol. Plus I installed on Friday afternoon and left town on Saturday morning.
What I did notice is the sound was a lot more mellow. More of a purr. Not sure if it was from smoother flow but I like it. It has a little of that softer high note to the pitch. With the rest of the exhaust upgrading to 2.5 and a good resonator or two, I believe I can get this to make some nice tunes.
Cons. Installing alone proved to be tricky and the paint suffered : / also the collector to the catback was noticeably smaller than that of the tp. I tried to remove material from the flange inside of the collector. Was only able to round it off a bit. Barely worth mentioning, but if I could do it again I would clean it up completely.
One more downside is the tp had a small resonator which helped more than I thought. But I will add a glasspack and magnaflow 4x9 to the catback along with the existing muffler. Hope the finished sound is worth the hassle

Nice VC paint job, gonna have to get on that too. I already have a K24a2 dyno'd at 240/220, and I have a JRSC sitting in the garage for 2+ years. Your tread is giving me an itch to finally install it.

    Keep up the good work!

Great job! I wish I could have run a race header when I installed my jrsc, need a cat where I live for state inspection.
