Well since i am upping the power and boost level, beefieng up the fuel system is a must, heres a lil something my tuner had on the side for me. Will be mounted in place of the evap canister, tucked away, henced the bracket to mount in the OEM spot of the canister.

    More too come.

    Fuel surge tank?

You only need those when participating in events that causes the fuel to move inside the fuel tank away from the fuel pumps such as high speed cornering in circuit events or drifting events where the car has extreme back and forth movement.

From what I can tell you're only drag racing so as long as you keep above half a tank of gas...

Yes sirre also known as swirl pot.

Yea well at one point we figured out my issue when in full boost I'd lean out and hit lean cut, it was later determined that the real cause of that was my gas tank always being 1/2 tank I never really ever filled my tank up.

And since this year I want to participate in other events other than drag racing, why not take the leap and do it now.

    Ah, I see.

Well then, in that case you definitely would require one of those.

For those that don't know what they do, I made a video post awhile ago on theory of operation of fuel surge tanks:

    Not that I know of.

I've only seen this discussed over @ ClubRSX forums, and even they had a hard time figuring it out.

My best advice to you would be to study what race car teams do and how they properly vent fuel cells.

ALL the K-series Civic track racers I know leave the evap canister alone and keep it connected. It only weighs a couple pounds and its better to have it than not on the road.
