    04 ep3 emusa turbo kit !

Well my last thread got deleted for some reason but here is my build thread on EMUSA turbo kit again !

    EMUSA turbo kit
    Kpro V3
    RC 750cc injectors
    Walbro 255
    2.5" straight pipe
Running on Rev-hard 12ohm map right now. Runs great, getting it tune this weekend.

This what I was driving before I got my EP3

I came really close to turboed my EM2 but I got the EP3 instead.

Here is some pictures of my car and what I've done to it.

The day I got it !

    First oil change.

I put an intake on it, AEM SRI V2. It made my car sounds really deep...

Got my mid pipe redone to 2.25" without resonator.

    And then I went CAI.

    Neuspeed front strut bar.

    Megan short shifter adapter.

    #faplife

And that is pretty much what I did to it beside all the little things like radio, speakers, sub and Type R spoiler ETC ETC ETC.....

Now lets get into the turbo !

Got this new universal k20 turbo kit for really cheap. I didn't like them because I didn't want to have to do custom piping so I got rid of it and bough a EMUSA turbo kit !

My build thread is going to be similar to AKEP's from EPHATCH.com
Big thanks to him for helping me getting all the parts and gave me all the info !
He have his own thread about EMUSA kit and I just followed everything on that thread.
    http://www.ephatch.com/forum/showthr...693-EMUSA-info

So here is my Hondata Kpro.

    RC 750CC injectors.

    Walbro 255 fuel pump.

NAPA radiator hose and fuel pump hose.

    TP8 oil line adapter.

    Silicone vacuum hose.

Glowshift 7 colors boost gauge and wideband a/f ratio.

    Update 9/24/13
My 2.25"-3" coupler came in today. You will need to buy this for TB and charge pipe, Emusa kit doesn't come with one.

    Update 9/25/13
    Got 2 packages to day.
VMS vacuum block came in a nice little box.

    Whats in the box?

I went ahead put the ports on it. I only need 3 for my BOV, wastegate and my boost gauge.

Other package is my dump tube. Emusa turbo kit doesn't come with one.

    Update 9/26/13
My turbo kit came in today

I opened up the box. Everything was packed nicely. All the gaskets is there. It doesn't come with vacuum hose though, but I already bought some. Only problem was that they gave me a wrong manifold. They have a really good customer service. My new one have been shipped out already !!! but still, I have to moved my appointment to next weekend.

    The boxes.

Lets start with the turbo. It came in a nice box.

Inside the box. When you open it up you will see these two.

This is the turbo, it is a 50/63 trim turbo.

Looks a lot better than the turbo in my other kit.

I'm picking up a same turbo, brand new in box by EMUSA off craigslist for $60 this weekend for a spare !

This is the intercooler. Came in a nice box.

    Inside the box.

    The logo.

I know a lot of people didn't get the mounting brackets but I got mine

    Wastegate box.

Inside the box. 38mm wastegate with 8PSI spring installed. It also come with 2PSI and 1 PSI spring. It also comes with a bag of hardware and vacuum ports.

Like I said earlier, I wanted to run 9PSI so I added 1PSI spring (the taller one)
If you need a manual, go to Emusa Info thread by AKEP !

    BOV box.

It is a HKS replica, I will not being using it. I will be using a Greddy BOV. The BOV spot on the intercooler pipe is made for a Greddy BOV.

It comes with HKS BOV adapter.

    Manifold box.

This is the wrong manifold. I don't even know what car is this one for.

    Intercooler piping.

Couplers and T clamps (missing one 90d elbow but you only need one. I contacted EMUSA and they're senting me 2 more along with my manifold).

Downpipe. It goes from 2.5" to 3". I will be getting a custom 3" pipe done all the way back.

    Oil feed and return lines.

That's all I got in the box !

I kind of put everything together and see how everything looks, everything was taken out and put back in their bag. Everything will be put together nicely the day is turbo is being installed !

A pictures of the oil restrictor.

    Mounting it on the turbo.

A picture of my TP8. the oil line go on top, the oil switch go to the right and the thread goes in your block(replaced with your oil switch).

    My Glowshift boost gauge.

    Update 10/1/13
My new manifold came in !

2 90d couplers, wrong size but I won't need them anyway.

    Manifold box

    Inside the box.

Put everything together to see how it looks. When you buy a dump tube, make sure you get the one that point straight down. I had to cut mine to make it fit.

    Ceramic coating

    Update 10/2/13
My heat wrap came in !!!

Wrapped my DP, I did my best. Make sure you wear gloves !!!

    Update 10/3/13
Type S o2 sensor and EMUSA type RS BOV came in. I'm still looking to get a Greddy Type S !

    Update 10/4/13
And my very last part I needed to install my turbo came in ! make sure you get these metal sheet gaskets for your wastegate. Emusa kit came with paper gaskets, they're junk !

    Up on the lift

    Taking my exhaust system off.

    Take the header off.

    Header and exhaust is off.

    Putting the turbo together.

Here it is, when installing the wastegate, don't forget to put the O ring in.

    Working it way up.

Mounted the turbo. I clocked the turbo up.

We had to take my WG off for more room.

    WG back on

Then we took the oil pan off to get it tapped for the reture line.

    Tapped
