RSX-S spec header with ep3 spec catback

I recently picked up a type s spec DCRH and would anyone be able to guide me in the direction of how much to cut it, what angle, etc. pictures would be a plus :) I don't want to cut my midpipe either. Thanks!

It's my understanding that if you source an RSX-spec mid-pipe you won't have to cut anything.

Get an RSX midpipe and you're done.

I don't want to have to source another midpipe since that would be more expensive compared modifying the header. btw i see you are in Chicago, look up Chitown EP3 on Facebook =) I started a group for us around Chicago

I have the rsx buddy club race header with the ep3 spec mugen twin loop and it all matched up just fine. The ep3 mid pipe and rsx mid pipe are the same, its the axle back that is different.

You can get one for around $50-$80 used on CRSX.... and save the trouble of cutting, of course unless you do it on your own. Or sell that one and get an OBX ver 2 header ,which would be even cheaper I think, that has a connector to make it either for RSX or EP...

That makes sense since the mugen is Jdm spec. From what I gathered is Jdm ep3 is the same as a rsx. It's usdm that needs 2 inches cut out.

Yeah i looked this up after my post and its a mixed bag. Best thing to do is pull everything off and match it up. But one thing i would recomend is get rid of the ep3 midpipe. Its very restrictive.
