EPS light no power steering

So I was driving today and stopped at QT for some gas I went to get back in my car and my EPS light was on and power steering was out not sure what it could be fuse is fine tried disconnecting the battery but still nothing. Has anyone had this problem I really dont want to take it the dealer if I don't have too.

Sorry if this is the wrong section I'm just fustrated and want this fixed asap.

Check all your connections to the power steering rack. I am not honestly sure though.

Your eps computer/control unit is probably bad.

It could be, but its seldom the the electyronic controllers for anything go bad in a Honda, its usually the electronics they control. I am guessing either bad connection or bad motor/sensor.

I second the EPS unit going out. While not necessarily the case, it is usually the main cause for the EPS light to go on.
