RSX/EP3 ABS Tone ring

I just bought a Type S axle for my CTR 5 lug swap, and it has no tone ring on it.

The Tone ring is the ring for the ABS sensor on the outboard CV joint.

Can somebody measure a DC5 base model, or EP3 axle and tell me what it measures? I need it measured on the collar where the tone ring slides on to.

I would seriously appreciate this info.

The only information I can give you is that the stock EP3 ABS sensor sits too close to the 36mm DC5-S axles and you have to shim it with some washers.

I have found success with (2) 1/8" thick washers and it PERFECTLY spaces the ABS sensor to the DC5-S axle ABS ring. I haven't measured it with my feeler gauge, but I would say it's about .10"-.12" close.

Hope this info helps, you could possibly measure your stock axle ABS ring and do some math and add the thickness of the washer I used to get a rough estimate of the DC5-S axle.

Thanks for the heads up, I just ordered a new axle, but I didnt know about the abs sensor, I have the sensors that came out of the CTR so I should be good to go by just swapping the sensors out
