When using the OEM head bolts, would you recommend to retorque the head bolts after 1000 miles or so? Does the same go for the ARP bolts?

Nooooo re-torque. New bolts get TQ'd down in pattern, then three, 45 degree turns in the same order.

You can supposedly re use OEM head bolts if they meet stretch spec found in the Honda manual. They get TD'd down in the same amount/pattern and only get TWO 45 degree turns in the same order.

ARP bolts... follow the instructions provided with them.

Keep in mind... head bolts are under the cam assembly. The cam assembly has to be removed from the head to have access to the head bolts. The bolts that you see on top of the cam assemblies are different... entirely.

Thanks for the advice. Actually have the head disassembled without the rocker arm assembly and camshafts so that is why Im asking before new head gasket is put in and head torqued down.... Have new OEM bolts, asked the question cause a lot of people were saying that the OEM bolts have tendency to stretch after a few hundred miles. Wanted to make sure. Thanks again
