OEM axle snapped from rust.

While crossing an intersection the other day, my passenger side wheel spun on the white painted line indicating where to stop. When the tire caught on the pavement, I felt a jerk and suddenly no transfer of power. So I'm praying my transmission did not grenade when I discover I snapped the axle. There is a rubber damper on the longer passenger side that collects moisture underneath and it rusted damn near all the way through. Just a heads up to other drivers to watch for this.
