Engine Startup with Cold and Slushy Coolant

I started my car this morning, popped the hood to check her out and noticed that the radiator reservoir coolant was slushy frozen, not rock hard frozen but thick and slushy.

Anyone experienced slushy radiator fluid and what the hell to do?

I'm wondering if it ruined the coolant pump?

Im up in Washington state fyi

    Anyone?

    Thanks.

    PS: Ephatch.com ftw!

Only thing that I can come up with is that the 50% water part of the Honda 50/50 coolant got partially frozen and the coolant 50% kept it from freezing completely.

I'm sorry if that's no help, I've only lived in Florida for most of my life.
