Jesus. I had no idea the oem knob cost more than the titanium knob.

Wow. I know the knob is important for good shifter feel but i went to a pick and pull and grabbed a stock em2 knob for $4 and it great. Way better than what ever crap knob the PO had in there that was stripped out and just spun lol. I can't imagine paying that much for something so small. If i wanted something special looking id have my buddy machine me up something and then thread it. Nice info though

I wish I could find the part # for that black collar piece, I bought a Type R boot and a 5 spd bronze tint aluminum knob from ICB Motorsport...it looks great but I know it's missing the piece for it to stay flush and not move around when shifting.

I don't think it's sold separately and has no specific part number.
It's included with the: KNOB, SHIFT (5MT) (ALUMINUM) [Phantom HFP KNOB EP3]
    (08U92-S6M-200A)

So I got the Fit shift knob and I really like the way it looks with the JDM shift boot.
It feels very solid too, overall a great OEM shift knob

I like the Mugen Shift Knobs too. My palms sweat a lot and I am afraid that the knob's color will fade because of acidity.
