Under 2k I would look at fortune auto. I have them on my car and have 0 complaints. You can go to shows and occasionally track them with no problem
Just looked into the bc racing coils. They offer 3 variants for the ep3 [Br],[Rm],[Er]. The [Br] is for street/light track [Rm] is for track only and [Er] is recommended track/street ultimate adjustability. All with optional swift springs where applicable.

How are they for daily driving? I do 100+ miles a day
Custom Fortune Auto 500s. Or custom Konis Sports for the best price performer.
Buddyclub n+ is great goes lower than rsd and not as stiff I think they're perfect for daily I'm on Megans and they're a little bumpy but that comes from being pretty low as well I also drive 80 miles a day
The more I look at spring rates, nothing seems balanced to me. The front to rear ratio is wrong. Stock we have 248/440 that's 0.563. Most coilovers are 448(8k)/560(10k) = .785. Too close to 1/1. The only exceptions are : Progress is 350/650 which is 0.538 and kw varient 2 340/515 = 0.660 or any custom springs. The reason Honda went with a 0.563 f/r ratio was to balance under/oversteer. And I don't want to stray too far from that.

also from Mustclime
"any suspension guy worth a dam would know that our cars have a front motion ratio .909 and rear of .588. This means with the above spring rates, the car would squot like dog taking a dump everywhere and the rear would feel very soft and seem to blow through its travel all the time."
Probably going with the fortune 500s.
04sidriver saw you there btw. your Car is awesome
Noob question: where did you buy fortune 500 coilovers?
You have to buy them from an authorized dealer. http://www.fortune-auto.com/dealers.htm
I would get the radial bearing upgrade...swift springs are optional if you want them too
I'm a big fan of my Mugen SS setup. Although it's nonadjustable it does have variable spring rates so they ride a bit softer during normal driving conditions but still provide a sporty feel through the corners. They were around $1200 when I bought mine but they seem to be a bit higher now around $1300.

I've never heard of any of these dealers except thmotorsports and enjuku racing, but neither of them carry for the ep3? Can you reccomend a dealer?
you have to call thmotorsports. They can order them for you. I am pretty sure evasive motorsports has em as well.
I just read the thread that someone did that
