    SRS light

I know the forum has a section for CELs but I haven't seen anything on SRS. My SRS light has been on for a little while now... it passed inspection the other day. I know how to reset it but I would like to know what is setting it off in the first place? Autozone doesn't read SRS codes...

If you get a code for OPDS or OPDS sensor, the warranty was extended to 10 yrs/150,000 miles.
Any other codes may qualify for good will consideration if you discuss with American Honda.
My SRS light came on after someone hit my car and the dealership replaced the tensioner/buckle successfully resetting the light.
See this link for the warranty extension (I know it is past the time period but good info).

    SiBoosting11,

FYI, the most common cause of the SRS indication in EP3's is failure of one of the two switches inside the drivers seat belt buckle. The fix is to replace the buckle assembly. If you buy one off eBay, watch out that the pre-tensioning squib has not been fired, the buckle assembly is part of the airbag system.
