Thanks- I have another build thread that has all the old pics when the car was supercharged. I'll look into updating this thread with some of the more recent stuff.

I know the feeling- this is my first car. I just could never pull myself to let it go.

    EFR EP3 build

Taking a look back at the build up to where the car started out:

Car used to be a swapped, ported jrsc car: aftercooled, meth, e85, etc. That was a fun setup while it lasted...

Well after many years of pushing the roots blower to new limits- decided to move on and really start the project I've always wanted to do with this car. Started by selling off the entire supercharger setup and tearing into the guts of the car getting rid of everything that either didn't work or deemed unnecessary. Things like ABS, SRS, cruise, EVAP, heater core, blower unit, radio, etc. were all ditched

I've always wanted to own a turbo car- and I figured now was the time to do the conversion. Before jumping into the kit- decided to prep the chassis for the conversion. Baby steps

Finishing up the interior and cleaning up all the wiring.

Made a carbon dash insert to move gauges and what not into 1 central location. Don't mind the sticker bomb- it's been since removed for the stock silver look

Gutting the EVAP system and replumbing the fuel tank to vent properly

    EFR EP3 build

Finally out of the garage and moving under her own power

... and after she is all cleaned up ready for summer use. Will be running it NA while I plan out the turbo setup

Well sadly I didn't take any pics of the build up of the next phase. The EFR kit from full race was my first attempt at a turbo setup and I have to say- it didn't come out half bad. The car isn't tuned yet and still needs a couple bugs worked out but for the most part- she is ready to go once spring hits. Here she is in hibernation:

Beautiful work -- you should definitely come out to Street Scene 2017 with 20+ EP3s this year in Syracuse!

Yea- I sold the entire kit a year or so ago- it was time to move on.

I can't say I miss it- battling belt slip and constantly hanging on the limits of the SC got old after a while. I haven't had the new setup tuned yet but it should be a lot of fun

Awesome build; love how much detail you put into it. Makes me wish I could have found a blue in Jersey in good shape two summers ago when I was looking.

Thanks man. It's all in the details! Haha

I can't imagine the car in anything but blue. It was the reason I got the car

Loved every stage of this car's progress... love to see what kind of numbers she'll put out this time around!
