Best allignment specs for Daily ep3?

    Hi,

My ep drives like shit and i want to sort it out now after 1 year of daily fighting with my steering wheel.

i've already changed the front bushes for poly ess.
i've just bought camber bolts and arms.

what would be the best specs for daily drive? almost 85% highway use.
i get very confused by the alignment threads found on the internet as most of them are using the car for track useage.

i was thinking about 1.5 neg camber front 1.0 rear, 0 toe front and 1mm toe-in rear is this a good setup?

    Thanks!

This looks like a good thread:

There are bunch of others, but this looked like the most on point to me. Also, any good independent shop would know stock specs and should be able to help you out with any customization.

for daily driving and tire wear Zero-ing most of the specs is your best bet. The bumpsteer is very aggressive on the EPS and even more so when the car is lowered.

To tighten things up, check out the SHG Steering Rack Slider and make sure your inner/outer tie rods are also still good. I had a OEM TRE go on me with less than 10k miles, sometimes they go fast. that caused the car to change directions on the highway on uneven pavement.

What is SHG and TRE ?

tie rods are fine no play in the front wheels.
only left front the top strut bolt was loose but ive tightened this up.
ive also bought net oem strut mount and bearing for the front right wil put this on before aligning the car.

-1 degree negative camber all round, 0.05 degrees toe in all round (total 0.10 toe in front and rear) sounds good?
found this from this video on youtube:

Tie Rod End - just figured that out myself.

SHG is a garage that makes a couple of custom parts for our cars - one of the owners has an EP3 that's on here or Club EP3, set up for track duty.

    Their website is: shgmotorworks.com
