Track day. Car ran fine all day last session sputterd and died.

As the title states I took my 2003 ep3 k20a2 swap to its first track day, the car ran perfectly for the first 3 sessions. On my 4th and last session lap 3 there was a little sputter, put it in 2nd and car kept going. Did another half a lap and the car died. No noises, no fluid leaks. Car still cranked but just wouldn't start. Let it cool down for an hour still crank but no start.

Took to my mechanic they said missfire in cyl #3 plugged the pigtail clip back on the coil and it fixed the problem. Drove the car home today.

The thing troubling me is that the fuel pump would not prime after just starter motor working hard to try get the thing going.

I'm wondering if when everything is hot from pushing the motor as hard as I can what other issues might cause this. Main relay, ingnition relay or fuel pump maybe?

Just seeing if you guys had any input? Thanks so much

So I'm thinking the fuel pump overheated as I only had a 1/5th of a tank of gas left. Is the k20a3 fuel pump the same as the k20a2 fuel pump.
