I was down at firebird with brett tonight.
He ran solid 15.6's all night long with 89 mph trap speeds.
Judging by his reaction and 60-ft times it has 15.4's written all over it. Considering the fact that the only performance mod he has is the flash I'd say that's pretty damn good.

Also taken into consideration is the fact that this is phoenix arizona and it's not exactly cold here right now. It was about 65 degrees outside.
Most of the 99 / 00 Si's out tonight where running 15.7 to 16.0 flat. They weren't stock either I/H/E on most of them.
whats the elevation there?
There was a hondata flashed rsx type s out there running 14.2...

did he go to the track before he got the hondata ecu flash? What kind of times did he run then?
I ran a 15.7 recently at alabama international dragway. My only mod is an exhaust midpipe. My tires were bald as hell too, so I know I could have done better.
Not to mention that some guys are running in the upper 15's totally stock.
if it's his first time at the strip in this car, I'll cut him some slack, 15.6 isn't too bad then. but if he's dragged the car before, he shoulda been kissing 15 flat with the hondata.

I think he's holding back to be perfectly honest. Hell I would be too if I was the guinea pig for the entire community.
I'm going to have to agree with Chunky an that one! I was a little disappointed with those number's my self. But better luck next time!!....just a bad day..

that's terrible!
10hp + 700rpm redline bump should have given him a sizeable gain.
