2nd gear kick?

Hsa anyone felt a little pause, and then kick of power in second gear, right around 4k??? I think its vtech kicking in, but i didnt think we were supoosed to able to feel it?? it only happens when i really punch it. it kinda pause for a split second, then really kicks, and only in second have i felt it....

I know what you're talking about. Kinda like it hesitates a little. Could it be the dip in the torque curve?

That's gotta be it. It reminds me of the turbo lag on my GF's Golf.
