    Bottoming Out?

I currently have Ground Control Coil Overs on stock shocks. When ever I hit a medium sized bump on the freeway I hear a big BANG! It sounds like the shock is bottoming out. Have any of you had this problem. Is it the shock or something else?

i've got the JIC-magic coilovers. The strut body is shorter than stock, and I've only lowered them halfway. Have not EVER bottomed out yet, and I live in brooklyn where the roads are for shit.

yea I thought that it was because my car was too low, when I first installed the GC's I slammed the car. The first time it bottomed out I raised them up all the way and it is still bottoming out. This problem is really erking me, I need shocks.

I took out the front one and replaced it with the one Ground Control provided. In the rear I cut the stock bump stop in half as instructed.

happened to me with the skunk2 coilovers. Turns out that the springs were too soft. Changed to rsx springs and have never bottomed out since
