    Damaged Spark Plugs

Here are some pics I took after removing my plugs after the Intake Back Fire.

You can see the center parts are broke and dangling, one of the arching arm on one is missing half of it hehehe.

Like I said before, peices of it are in the engine floating around. Probably cause dentonation hehehe.
Some pics of my Drag Radials on the 15" (4x100 15x5.5)stock Honda Accord alloys (since I sold my stockers) (got them for free)Those Nittos were tight as hell putting them on such a skinny rim, inflated to 90psi and beat it with a rubber mallet to set the bead hehehehe(by the way that is very dangerous):D :p They have never been used yet. Hopefully real soon when the motor is swapped or done.

Iridium sparky's are traditionally not meant for nitrous applications as opposed to copper core sparky's, because they run too hot, even if you run them 2 stages colder like you did.

I think you just proved that very well. :)

yeah the Densos are not a very strong plug when used with NOS or Boost, their centre electrodes can break under unusual conditions.

That might be the case, but I have run 3 sets of them on previous 35-75shots and had no problems with them. I guess 105shot was to much for it or I had damage already from running to hard before the 105shot :D ;) :p

yeah that's true , when you get good detonation almost any spark plug will crack or self destruct in the chamber, not much that can hold up under those conditions.

those DENSO plugs ARE for boost/nitorus applications... he clearly bought the IK24's which are 2 heat ranges colder than stock... IK16's are pretty much OEM replacement plugs fyi... Detonation can be caused by alot, my guess is just to little fuel thats all .... - since the electrodes were gone on the plugs try putting the stockers back in and see how she drives. -- Joe :)

Denso's are known for falling apart...

Seems as though you're proud of your destruction..?

    ROCK ON!:D

I have to get some new plugs before it warms up around here.
Not sure what I'm going to go with yet.. Probably NGK's, as I've always had good luck with 'em.

    Keep the jucie flowing!
