    absurdities

it boggles the mind to accept this but...

if you were to purchase our stock 15" wheels all over again from the parts dept they would cost more than, lets say, some nicer buddy club racing 17's

    or...

our no performance Michelin MXV4's cost more than some better falken azenis or yokohama avids (on tire rack our stock michelin tires are $134 a tire, the falkens and yokohamas are between $89-$110 a tire?!)

anything OEM always costs money. Honda usually wants something like 200 or 250 a wheel for the 15x6 sizes.

The michelins are selected b/c they are quiet tires and michelin has EXCELLENT quality control - it's virtually impossible to get a bad tire that bubbles for no reason, or has tread separation issues. That's why honda likes the michelins, and that's why michelins can command the heavily padded price figures.

Personally, for 200/wheel, I like my oz superleggeras, and my 81/tire yokohama avs es 100 in 225/50/15

Funny thing is that you can get these from other members here for $500, all four tires and rims. Even the 99-01 GSR's and 99-00 SI's.
