    Lowest price on a si?

I want to get one but I see them going for 19,000+. What do you guys think I can get one down too? Lets say that im a good negotiator, and I dont mind talk price. Also is there a best time to buy a car?, a time when the dealers want to sell more badly then other times? Thanks. And whenever I get the car ill keep you guys and girls posted on what I got it down to.:)

Tell the dealer you want one for $17,700 and DO NOT pay dealer fees!

When you go to the dealership ask for the internet department...they are paid different so, they are willing to sell the car at invoice or very close. When you talk to the salesman, tell him the price you want to pay and don't stand down. Trust me, they will give eventually.

Sometimes it is better to go directly to the store manager as he does not get paid on the commission of the car. he only gets paid as it being a unit rolling off the lot.

And, go at the end of the month.

    Hope this helps!

In the Los Angeles Times' Saturday edition classifieds, many dealers have them for 16,995 plus fees (usually about 10%).
At least 3 of those dealers say "4 to choose from at this price".
I know you're in Fla., but hope this helps.

    Post Buying Tips Continued

No, 17,700 is around what they own the car for(invoice price)...I know this because I work for a dealership down here in South Florida. Some dealerships might not sell the car at invoice, depends on how many they have and how long they have had them. also if the manager sees the car as a piece of metal or a "limited edition" car. I wouldn't pay more than $18,000.

Also, they are gonna charge you for any equipment they added to the car. (wheels, mud guards, moonroof visor, etc.) but, even these items you can get discounted. If you go to www.hondaautomotiveparts.com, you can see how much the dealer pays for these item although on this website everything is marked up about 10%.

I work in the Internet sales Department. I am not a salesperson though. I am their Coordinator ( administrative assistant ).

I can get you a good deal if you are interested.

    We have plenty in stock.

    Let me know.

Keep in mind that here in California, when I say "fees", I mean tax and license. You have to pay that. It's usually a very good estimate to use 10% as a guage. So it's 16995.00 + 1699.50 out the door.

I don't remember the exact invoice price but it's somewhere around $17300. Add in destination charge of $450 and you're up to about $17,8k.

yea.. i got mine for 18500 out the door, including the tax and licence dieal. so i guess initally like 17 something. I got in Tacoma Washington, and at that honda dealership it was listed for 22400, it had a whole bunch of mark up values for the dealership to get some cash flow... don't buy into that.

First check all your local dealers inventory ( online). Mine had 9 silver on the lot, and that was just one dealer. Then click on the request a quote. Take that down to the dealer and thats their FIRST price quote. Do your homework (i.e: payment calculators at edmunds ) and you should be well armed to do battle with them.
I just purchased mine last night and got it for $19000 out the door. They are going below invoice.
Good Luck. And the wait is the worst part of the whole deal!!
