where did you get it?
i painted my headlights awhile back and have had a little bit of condensation in the driver side light that would come and go. what i did was pop out the driving light bulb, park it in the garage and took a silica gel pack and pushed it in the hole a little. i left it there over night and then put the bulb back in. so far after a week the condensation hasn't come back. much easier than doing my headlights over.
Probably from a box of Nike's :P)
cool, just curious how does silica gel stop condensation?
doesn't it suck up any moisture in the air?
*shrugs*:D

I'm learning that gardeners use these to help preserve seed packets in storage, and like what has been mentioned above, you might be able to get some at a shoe store if you ask nicely.
Pretty cool stuff.

I've got the same problem with my angel eye projectors that I bought for my EK... with the lights on, the condensation burns off and stays off for a couple days, then all of a sudden BAM!! It's back!!! I'm thinking of just taking the lights off and redoing the seams just to be sure there's no leaks.
reseal the headlights...nice avatar.:DOriginally posted by downhil
