    reliable mods.

Im looking to finally throw some money into my hatch. I know exhuast intake yada yada. What other mods will not hurt the reliability. I have to pay for this thing for awhile so it needs to last.

Reliability is all in how you service/drive/take care of your car. If you buy shitty parts you will get shitty fitment and results. I have been very happy myself with just intake/race header/exhaust for my daily. All thats missing for me now is kpro and everntually a k24 swap.

If you want reliable, leave it stock. Drop in K&N if you want.

The more mods you do, the less reliable the car will become. If you do mod, the quality of the parts you use and the significance of the mod will dictate reliability. Simple, good quality bolt-ons won't hurt your reliability as much as something like an eBay turbo kit, for example.

I've never put anything on my car I didn't expect to last.

swap, i/h/e, kpro, s/c, turbo, built motor, etc.

it all comes down to quality of the parts and job done, tune, and how well maintained the owner keeps the car

I don't know brotha...if you ask me...leave her stock...The most I would do is just some basic bolt on kits....headers, intake, exhaust....
Don't waste your money on cheap ass ebay shit...you will get what you pay for...
You can definitely upgrade your suspension. I really loved progress when I had them. Buddy club is another really good off the shelf brand of coilovers. Sway bars and struts bars will also not hurt reliability.
My vote is to save your money, keep her stock....

That's what I did. No point in having a 350+ hp Ep3... If I wanted power I would have kept my neon

Now there's a car that's so powerful and doesn't suffer from the same pitfalls as the EP at 350+...

    Oh wait.

I'm glad somebody else spoke up. I don't mean to be an asshole but if you want reliable power you're probably going to spend more than 9 thousand dollars on the entire car, guys.... including the car.

I would say the simpler modifications that use less moving parts, like a sway bar, a shift knob, short ram intake, basically ones that take less than one hour to install.

i wouldnt buy anything you couldnt install yourself...
also it wouldnt hurt to know a thing or two about fixing/upkeeping your car, esp. if you plan on modding it.
