    EMUSA info

Here's the turbo kit we've been talkin' about. I'll try to keep the first post updated with all the info so its easy to access.

    http://www.emotorusa.com/index.asp

    EM-USA = E-Motor USA of Indianapolis.

beats the hell out of this page:

    http://www.emusaautomotive.com/

you can buy everything they make from http://www.speedyracer.com

    Just thought I'd share.

    EP3 Turbo Kit Installation Guide
    EMUSA Wastegate Instructions

Rolldogk20's Cal - RBC IM, RC750 Injectors, 4Bar Hondata MAP, Hondata Boost Solenoid, 2.5 Straight Pipe, Stock Fuel Pump 8.5 PSI - Use at your own risk!

    Things you HAVE to buy:
Injectors (something along 550cc or above)
Dump Tube (make your own or ebay one, either ebay tube will work, they cost like $30)
    Kpro
    3" - 2.5" or 2.25" silicone reducer
Hondata 4bar MAP Sensor (if your going over 10 psi)

Things you might want to buy
    MAC Boost Solenoid
    Hondata 4 Bar MAP Sensor
    #7940 NAPA Rad Hose
    2.25"ID x 3"ID 4Ply Silicone Coupler
Deatschwerks Injectors - or whatever you wanna run.
Deatschwerks 65c Fuel Pump - or a walbro 255, the 65c requires no cutting or strapping. direct replacement for OEM.
38mm Dumptube on ebay, there are 2 types and either will fit, i would sugggest the one thats bent in the middle.M14 Banjo Bolt or TSI Timing Cover Inspection Plate Return (you can email them @ sales@turbospecialties-race.com) for $25.
    ATP Oil Restrictor
TP8 from these guys. - Don't be scared to order from them, I live in CA and it look only 3-4 days to get. Thats faster than most of my ebay purchases.
Make your own oil feed/return lines, its cheap and easy.
    Vacuum Block
    Gauges
    K-Pro

    Spark Plugs:
Stock spark plugs from NGK - IZFR6K11
Stock spark plugs from Denso - IK20L

Colder plug I found on google that everyone else is using (to my knowledge) is the NGKs below, or Denso IK22's.
    IRIWAY7 cross reference BKR7EIX
    IRIWAY8 cross reference BKR8EIX

    Turbo rebuilt to Garrett Specs - http://www.blaastperformance.com/index.php > Remanufacturing service > Knock-off T3/T4, upgrade to Garrett (XSP,ZY) - $260 w/6 month warranty
Quick Link to install instructions - HERE
Quick Link to Greddy piping mod - HERE

Found out that I actually got a 6 psi spring in my wastegate, read other websites and they list the springs as 4(little spring under cup),6 (Stock), 8(+2 spring) and 10(+4 Spring). but some people have received 4(little spring under cup), 8 (stock), +1 and +2.

    Made 247hp, 221tq @ 6 psi
    Made 297hp, xxxtq @ 8 psi

Also, someone said on another forum, the coilovers are comparable to Racelands.
And they are made by the same company that makes Megan stuff.

i'd imagine you can't run it without injectors. our puny ones cant hang with anything. I've seen mine hit 80%ish duty with bolt ons @ 12.x:1 A/F. so boost at 12.x:1 will def be way too much.

gtimport made 268(?) with it at 9psi on our stock motor.

I have had good luck with the EMUSA kit, I ran/raced it all summer with no problems and will be putting the same kit on my k24a2. After about 5000 km on the kit over the summer the turbo is still tight and didn't leak any oil.

The GT30 probably won't bolt right up to this downpipe because its not a standard garrett 5 bolt flange. The flange is made to fit this emusa turbo and wouldn't bolt up to my Turbonetics super 60 all but 1 of the 5 bolt holes was off way off, but it wouldn't be to hard to have a Garrett 5 bolt flange welded on.

ave you guys upgraded the turbo at all in your kits? i dont think running more then 10-12psi with that cheap turbo would handle it?
