Yeah, +35. 45 might need a 5mm spacer due to inner wheel rim rubbing lca on turns..
thought mitchlikesbikes would chime in by now since we have the same wheels.
no rubbing on 225/45 on 17x8 +38, i had slight fender rubbing with 235/45. no lca rubbing though. this is with factory alignment settings
I'm on 245/40 mounted on 17x8+38 with HFP suspension and no rubbing at all.

17x8 +35 on 235/40/17 rpf1 good fit?
Sounds like a perfect fit imo... I have those same tires on 17x7.5 +35 but I wish they were 8's
Current set up:
Wheel size: 17x7 +40 offset (Konig Forward)
Tire size: 215/45/17 (Kuhmo Ecsta 4X)
Drop: .75" front .75" rear (A-Spec suspension)
Fenders rolled: No
Rubbing: No
........ There is still a good amount of wheel well in the rear and a fair amount in the front.
......... I want to fill the space in the wheel well without dropping the car any lower.
.......... What is the largest size tire I can put on my rims to fill up the wheel well gap?
......... I was thinking 225/50/17..... Will they fit without rubbing or rolling fenders?
On your specs they should fit no problem
