Can I fit 225/45/17 ?
Current set up:
Wheel size: 17x7 +40 offset (Konig Forward)
Tire size: 215/45/17 (Kuhmo Ecsta 4X)
Drop: .75" front .75" rear (A-Spec suspension)
Fenders rolled: No
Rubbing: No
Just wondering if you think a set of 255/60/15 will fit on a set of 15x8 with +40 offset. need tires for the dyno lol.

Thanks 27rocks ...... I know there has to be someone here with that set up that could chime in...thanks...
17x7.5 +30, will it work? I plan on running 225/45/17
Rear is partially rolled. I don't mind fully rolling the rears if necessary but I'd rather not have to run crazy amounts of camber. I'd like to stay close to oem alignment specs if possible.
I've searched and it seems like +30 is borderline hellaflush territory..
Thanks!

Yes, you can make it work without too much fuss. There must be someone on here that has those numbers, maybe they will speak up. I worry more about the inside fit than the outside - you can convince the outside to fit and you'll be fine on the inside.
I had 225/50/16s, same diameters as your 45s, on stock 16x6.5, +45, on stock lca width track, they fit fine. 16x8.5, +37, needed some more room on the outside, fine inside.
Rear 225/50/16s, stock rims, needed a 5mm spacer, a little rubbing on the outside. 16x8.5", +37, a good bit of pulling, doable at home with a bat and some patience.
Thank you so much guys. Your posts really help.
I was only able to find one other person on EPhatch (link1, link2) with 17x7.5 +30's. I really wanted wanted someone else with the same setup to chime in so that I could figure out how much camber I would need. I really want to be close to oem alignment specs and stay away from the hellaflush look if possible.
303EP, this is probably a noob question but why did you need more camber with 225's than the 235's? is it the sidewall height that made that difference?

Here's a great Wheel Offset calculator from a Canadian retailer: just punch in the stock wheel width and offset, and the new one to determine the new inner and outer clearance:
http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator
I just now ordered the following:
Enkei Racing RPF1 17" x 8" +45
Kuhmo Ecsta XS KU36 245/45/17
I have full RSX Type S hubs/suspension/etc. and Type R aluminum LCA's. Hopefully I can clear with that offset. After doing some reading it should fit just fine. I might have to raise the front ride height a bit.
Should be here in a couple weeks, I'll post fitment pictures when I get them.
so would a 17x9 +30 fit?
planning on going with 245/40 in the front and 225/45 in the rear
-2/-2.5 camber in the front and -1.5/-2 in the rear
gonna roll and pull the front and gonna shave the rear flat (has bondo from a fender bender so cant roll)
let me get some feedback! thanks guys!
That is a fun tire. Can't wait to see how that set up fits. It should look really nice.
Very nice tire sizes but you don't need a 9" for the rear with that tire combo. A match for the front combo would be 8.5", even 8" would work. Lighter and slightly cheaper. Much easier to fit, too. Just an opinion.
Edit; the rear 17x9 wheel should fit fine on the inside but the outside will need to be pulled. I don't like the idea of a 225 on a 9" wheel but you know where I am on wheels and tires; form follows function. Even from a appearance view, the rear would be stretched and the front would not. Can you get an 8.5" wheel?
Wouldn't 245s in the rear look sweet...
