So...update from me. The EMUSA intercooler kit is NOT compatible with the GReddy bolt on turbo kit. The upper charge piping/coupling doesn't connect properly to the "j-pipe" coming down from the compressor housing of the T517Z. Sucks, I really was looking forward to using the intercooler the guy gave me with the kit. Guess I have to go buy the GReddy intercooler kit now (sigh)

he bought the garrett rebuild kit. It is still the emusa compressor wheel, but replaced all the seals and possibly the bearings.

I just checked his thread and for $40 he got the rebuild kit for the bearings and oil seals

So, you just call them up and ask for a bearings and seal kit? does it matter what size anything is?

Go to a company like this to upgrade the internals for you....http://www.blaastperformance.com/index.php this link should take you right to the rebuild for knock-off turbo's. Some people try to do this at home with simple tools but rebuilding a turbo is precision work and without the proper tools and equipment to do a rebuild, it will not last.
Replacing the bearings, thrust system and balancing the rotating assembly are things that can't be done properly without the proper tools.

Yeah the warranty is legit, blaast performance has a very good reputation and they do stand behind their work. Alot of local guys have used them for rebuilds and I only know of one that ever had to go back for warranty work.

Did you modified that whole upper I.C piping? For the BOV?
Here is mine as it came in the kit. I clocked the turbo up instead of down as the instructions say. I mostly did this because it was easier at the time and I figured it was going to be easier to get to the 90* coupling if it blew off. The gt3582 should fit no problem because it isn't much bigger in diameter than the one the kit comes with its just alot fatter and there is lots of room above this turbo for the extra hieght of the k24.
