Yes, recaro made our seats too. Which is why I get a little frustrated when people say they "just installed recaros" or something. Recaro made the seats for your EP3, that's one of the best things about the car stock.
didn't one member switch out the usdm seat covers for the european ones?
Not the JDM or the facelift ones, but the 02-03 type r is europe ones.
Recaro make our seat but they keep them unbranded for marketing purposes just like momo make our steering wheels but unbranded.
I have a pair of the 02-03 Edm covers the only thing that I have found to be different is the one of the seat covers has a different place that they put the release to get out of the back seat I think it is the passenger side?! it is farther up the side there is a half inch by 3inch piece of material missing there.
so i dont get this there is euro type r's and regular type r's? how many kinds of ep3's are there im so lost i thought the euro type r's were the same shit as the japanese ones, can somebody explain sorry =/
Euro type rs come with the k20a2 (rsx s engine) and have a couple of different trim levels I believe. The anniversary edition comes with alot of the jdm red interior but still the weaker engine. Their regular type r comes with the same as us interior with a couple of extras. Except the seats say type r on them and the carpets are black with red piping. The jdm type r comes with the k20a and only the red interior also has no sidemarkers and powerfolding mirrors. This is only for the 02-03 and I know I missed some stuff. The 04-05 facelift model has more differences as well.
not unless your seats look like this,
who carries the CTR recaros? i've called every shop and they only carry DC5R seats...
that's my next mod if i can find one...
You can buy them from Japan, in some Ebay stores.
