    04-05 to 02-03 headlight conversion

I'm wanting to convert my headlights to the 02-03 spec lights. Because of the difference in bulb types, can I run a 9006 to H4 adapter harness to run the low beams? I know high beams won't work, but will my low beams atleast work? Im trying to avoid a whole new harness or splicing of the existing harness.

    get 2 pair of these:

    and a pair of these:

and wire them up, you'll get highbeams just fine. not sure about the negative switching though.

How would this work though? 04-05 have two separate bulbs, 02-03 has a single bulb. So when I flick my highs on, the plugs for the high beams won't be connected to anything.

You're only splicing together the parts Ed linked. The reason you're getting 4 of the 9005/9006 is so that you'll connect up to both the high and low side of the stock harness in order to send a "high beam" signal to the appropriate prong of the H4 connector. The H4's three prong setup is low beam, high beam, ground. So potentially I would imagine you're splicing both of your stock negatives to the H4 "ground" prong, and one positive from each to the corresponding "high" and "low" prongs. Then rinse and repeat on the other side. That works in my head but I'm not really picturing it fully right now.

i don't remember the colors of the wires for the 9005/9006 but you'll have to take the 2 grounds and connect them to the corresponding H4 prong.

The stock h4 plug has 2 grounds (hi/low) and 1 power wire. (negative ground switching)

    i think that'll work...but don't quote me...
