Side markers that blink and stay on - video verification

This should lay any questions/debates to rest:

To make your side markers stay on all the time (when parking lights are on) and also blink, these are the steps.

Connect positive side marker light wire to the positive wire of the parking light.
Connect negative wire to the positive of the turn signal bulb.

This will make it so when your parking lights are off, the side markers will blink in the unison with the turn signals.
At night, when the parking lights are on, the will alternate with the turn signals.

Too easy.

They're still alternating.
I almost always rock my running lights..

I'll do this when someone can find a way to get them to work this this way:
Running lights on = always-on AND blink in unison.
Running lights off = always-off AND blink in unison.

yeah unfortunately I don't think that's possible without some serious rewiring...I like the alternating though.
