is there a difference between rsx-s and ep front lcas?

my understanding is that they're interchangeable, because people doing weight reduction tend to opt for itr lca's regardless of lug pattern, but I'd wait for a confirmation post on this...

the part numbers are slightly different.

i think that's bc the dc5 axles are slightly longer. like a few mm.

the 05/06 dc5s lcas are not a straight bolt on deal. i know this for sure

No difference, so as long as the RSX-s 5 lug swap is from a 02-04 you are good to go. The 05-06 have a larger ball joint hole.

besides the holes is there anyway to tell between 02-04 and 05-06? im picking up 5 lug tomorrow but they dont know if its 02-04 or 05-06.

The 05-06 have a noticeably larger ball joint hole... other then that they look the same. It's kinda obvious though if you've ever seen a normal Ep one before. I wish i had take rough measurements when i had the two together.
Your second question already has the answer in it. The two different years don't mix with each other, so no it wont work. And i don't think anyone even makes 05-06 RCA that im aware of.

ok i think i could tell once i take a look. eps, integras, civics have bout the same size holes which i see all day long at work, if its noticeably bigger than ill know for sure.

buddyclub makes it for 05-06 rsx-s and 02-06 itr. and im pretty sure hard race and js racing do too.

im kinda hoping its 05-06 now so i can upgrade to itr lca
