I felt like donjon really answered your original questions (lol).

Both of the Depo kits are plug and play. You won't need anything apart from the headlights themselves in most cases. However, the easiest way to do it is to get the type that matches your year. Based on your avatar I'm betting you have an 04/05, so I'd recommend those Depos for you. You can use 02/03 if you want but it's going to require some wiring and socket conversions due to the different bulbs used in 02/03 versus 04/05. By sticking with the Depos designed for your year of EP, you'll get enough in the original packaging to convert your 04 or 05 EP setup for Depos. Depo makes a great set of lamps; they're the only brand I'd buy other than OEM.

its really good for the price and you don't need anything unless you want to install hids then you need xclip to hold the bulb.

Everything was plug and play for me. I have an 03 so I got the 02-03 ones.

02-03 plus and play
04-05 you just remove the pigtails
instructions as detailed. just helped my buddy put his in this week. took like an hour or so with a beer
