    Civic Special Edition Radio Fitment

Guys I've been looking for a nice way to integrate an AUX jack into the ep and I found this:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/390481130553?redirect=mobile

Would this plug in the ep3's harness?

Why not just get a Kenwood or what not and run the aux through the back and under the center console? It stays hidden and no wires are exposed. Just a thought.

While I'm sure there is some way to jimmy rig an AUX port into the stock harness and head unit of the EP, it would probably end up costing you about as much money (and far more time splicing wires) as a nice headunit with a conversion kit for the dash, AUX port, and all other sorts of goodies. I can appreciate any attempt to keep a car "stock looking," but you can find some pretty low-key head units out there that will meet your needs.

Sorry I can't answer your question as to whether the eBay kit in question will work. I can almost certainly promise it won't be plug and play.

OR keep your stock unit and purchase this http://blitzsafe.com/catalog/honda/h...1/prod_65.html and this http://www.amazon.com/Mediabridge-St...rds=3.5+to+rca and voila! Keeps it OEM, son.

love my blitz- i regret not getting it a long time ago.

only thing i WOULD do different is getting the AUX cord instead of iphone connector style. playing music while charging makes the battery HOT! which will hurt you in the long run. plus it limits you to ipods/phones only. but it would be perfect if you have an old ipod you dont care about anyways. Also the AUX jack cord would be alot easier to hide. with my set up i drilled a hole in the CD storage area, it allows for the cable to be hidden and you can also put your phone in there too.

ebay had the best deals btw. just make sure you get the hon.1 or something like that. got mine for $65 shipped

yeah I got the one that can play any device from a buddy on cep3. i have an Ipod nano so I bought a little tiny dash holder. Im going to remove the little empty button thing, or drill a hole in it. then run the cable through there from the back. The size of the Ipod is just large enough to cover the hole so you wont see a thing. Ill post pics when im done

go aftermarket radio and run the cord from the back to the glove box or some units have the aux right in the front where you can plug and unplug the wire
