    Fiberglass box

I'm wanting to make a fiberglass box for a 10 inch alpine type r. I want it ported and an "amp" rack on it. Any body have pictures or advice before I get started. I'm wanting to do this up against the wheel well so I can save as much trunk space as possible.

Read this (his sub enclosure is down the page a bit):

If you want me to move your thread to audio just let me know. I suppose "custom" is equally appropriate, I'll leave it up to you.

I didn't realize you were an MOD. Which ever you think will get the most attention works for me. I actually meant the wheel well on the side of the hatch not the spare tire well.

Oh I see. I think you might find some of those in the audio section. At one point I think somebody mass-produced them, but if you want to you should be able to fab up your own. The mod thing is a pretty recent development.

I'll move the thread, I have no idea what goes in "custom" other than hideous dashboards and oversized speaker pods.

I wish you lived closer. I have a fiberglass box that needs to reconditioned and built for a Crossfire BMF Sub 10". That I have also. The subwoofer is a tad bit more powerful than the alpine. Alpine - 200-500 rms and Crossfire BMF - 600 rms. At one point, when I was testing the limits, I had it up to 1300 rms before I blew one for some testing. I had the box set back to the seats and had plenty of room to put things.
