    pistons

I am getting some custom Arias pistons in june. I was wondering if the rings would be pregapped or if I will have to take it to a machine shop. Also planning on blueprint and balance, I'll tell you how it goes.

You can purchase either "pre-gapped" piston rings or "file-fit," which are oversize with smaller gaps. This allows you to file the ends of the rings for the end-gap you desire.

Unless you totaly know what your doing I would go with pre-gapped but I am not sure if this is an option with Arias, but it is an option with every piston manufacter that I have ever inquired about
