    Aem Cai

    Just installed today....HOLY SHIT!!!!!! That thing screams...When I get n the gas really hard...(above 5K of course)...people from all directions turn wondering what the f@$k that noise is....I'm really happy....But it was a pain in the ass to put in...

    Is it that hard ? I'll have mine on Monday. Was it your first intake install ?

    how hard is it to install? i have no expierience wat so ever in installing an intake or any other eng mods for that matter
    will i b able to install it myself or should i find some1 else to do it?

    I've done two install of CAI, they aren't that hard. Takes a little time. Just pay attention and don't rush.

    I hear it is about 6-8 whp. Where is the filter located ??

    I think that short rams usually add more "sound", but that's all they do for you. You need a CAI to get any real gains.

    Hey sorry it's taken so long to reply...I was out of town....The AEM was a real pain to do...It wasn't my First CAI install...it was actually my third...The engine bay is really tight...trying to clamp the breather hoses on was especially hard...well maybe it's because of the size of my hands....I'm a big guy (6'5", 240 lbs)...My hands are huge....but anyway...I'm happy its done...the filter sits in the driver's side wheel well....I feel a little difference in power....Could be the shitty Michelins, But I chirp third whenever i want to...I only got 650 miles on the car...I hear that It'll fully break in soon and I'll feel more power...

    I wish I could catch 3rd whenever I wanted to. I can only do it once in a blue moon.

    Damn you could chirp 3rd, I was only able to really chirp 3rd in my 00 after i got my clutch. I did test drive an rsx s and i chirped 3rd no prob with that thing.

    Damn, chirping third. Thats tight ! I have about 700 mi on my car and I'm doing the install next Monday. My luck I go out of town for a week the day my intake gets here
