    Clean the Engine

    Any1 have any good suggestions on what to use to clean the whole engine bay? I never have cleaned it, its not that bad...but still needs to be done....i guess! :)

    I borrowed my parents steam cleaner and it worked great!

    Also, try using a mild all-purpose spray cleaner and a rag, seems to work well enough.

    My buddy found a dealership-only product called "Hondabrite" and it works amazingly well. It's for motorcycles, but hey.

    I did a thread like this back in the day here on this site, and basically folks told me Simple Green. Dilute it really well and have at it.

    oh shit, what do you know? ;)

    so the steamer should work? i'm scared of heating up the hoses. will the hoses be cool?
