yupp no nuts under... its just bolts then... you might want to be prepared to catch the rubber (stock) bushings that might fall into the shifter console
first two bolts are ok... but after two is a pain...
its easier to go from bottom two to top two ... just my two cents.
yea i think the bottom two bolts are a biyatch!
But like i've always said, alum bushes are my #1 fav mod of all time! :)
I did this today. One thing I found it's easier to pull the rubber bushings out with some needle nose pliers. I took a chunk out of one but I'm never putting the stock ones back it so it don't matter.
Another thing I found when removing the metal sleeves is it's easier not to lose them if you thread a string through, grab both ends of the string and push the bushing through with a screwdriver or something. This keeps the bushing on the string and keeps it from falling.
I found this mod to be worth $20 but not worth anything more.
Of course if I had to choose between rubber and metal bushing I choose metal
if you snake a wire through the factory bushings and hold both ends before trying to remove them, you don't have to be so careful about dropping them.
Any way we could get the photos put back up in the original post?
