    intercooler on JDM bumpers

    anybody gotten an intercooler to fit on the JDM bumpers? if so what did you need to cut?

    Hmm never thought about this one, but I think it should fit. The front JDM re-bar is bolted on to the same spot, and that's usually where the intercooler is mounted to. Even though it might be shorter and stubbier it still should fit with no cutting involved.

    im just asking because i would like to go turbo but if i cant fit an intercooler then i will stay n/a

    Cutting is involved, the JDM bumpers are shorter making the grille hit the IC.
    Everyone is cutting out the grille but Im trying to save my grille as much as I can.
    Ive been working on the install for 2 days now after work.
    Its time consuming trying to save that damn grille by using a dremmel.
    Afterall that work I did, the IC is flush with "part" of the grille thats left,:) now, the IC pipping hits the housing where your foglight would go. Douhp...!
    So the grille might need to be removed completely. :sadm:

    yea i figured alot of cutting would be involved. can you post pictures once you're done?

    Sure thing, Ill go take some right now to show what it looks like with a grille.
